I recently wrote an article for the Great Southwest Home Show that had some easy and inexpensive ideas that might help you.
You can be frugal and still have a beautiful home -the key is to really put together a plan with what you want to accomplish and how much you want to spend before you start shopping.
When a start on a Lifestylist® Designed home, the first thing I do is think about the homeowners lifestyle, and how they'll be living in it. Do they have kids? How Old? Pets? Are sports important? Do they like to entertain? Do they enjoy spending time in the kitchen or would they rather share "Take-In" with their guests?
Making over your home can be as simple sometimes as just moving some things around -by giving the room a different "flow" and feel, you might end up with just the experience you were hoping for!
Cavco Offers Best Housing Buys in Tucson, Arizona
What a wonderful week I've had! We are doing more product design for home companies, and fortunately last week I headed to Arizona to work on some new projects. While there I headed to Tucson - a place that will always have my heart. I was fortunate enough to live there for 9 years, and going back made me realize how much I miss that amazing lifestyle.
There has always been a question as to whether factory built housing can be "as good as" a site built home, and when I stopped by the Cavco Retail Center on I-10, I saw some great examples of how factory built homes can not only be as good as, but better than their site built competition! I have absolutely fallen in love with a home that they had in their model park, and if I just showed people the photos, I bet they would never guess that they could have this home delivered instead of built on their lot. The high ceilings, skylights and transom windows let you take advantage of the views, and as a "foodie" I'm lusting after the kitchen! Solid surface countertops, tons of beautiful cabinets and stainless steel appliances would make it hard to ever leave. I also loved the floorplan that was perfect for entertaining - the kitchen opened into the great room so the chef could be a part of the party.
I also absolutely loved the porches -not one but two! There was one off of the master suite that would be perfect to enjoy sunrises or sunsets from.
If you haven't had the chance to take a look at the beautiful new homes that Cavco is building, now is a great time. Either visit their Marana Sales Center to see this home, visit their website or give Nick a call at: 520-744-3804. Be sure to tell them the Lifestylist® sent you so they'll give you the full tour!
